libboinc7 software package provides libraries of BOINC the client depends on, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libboinc7
libboinc7 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libboinc7 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libboinc7 *
You will get with libboinc7 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
